Amazon's Kindle will grow.

For book publishers provide digital readers like Amazon's Kindle already for optimism. Next, there is supposedly a successor soon - with a larger screen that is optimized for newspapers. The solution for the media in crisis?

The new, improved version of the Kindle digital reader is barely three months old, already is preparing manufacturers seem to Amazon to launch another new product before: According to a report of
"New York Times' is probably still in this week introduced Kindle, especially for the presentation of newspapers and magazines intended.

Amazon
Newspaper reading with the Kindle: Apparently, Amazon's digital reader that in the new format to offer

The screen of the new Kindler is about as big as a DIN-A-4-side. Unlike the previous device on which newspapers and magazines, only a very limited can be shown, would the new format, the messages make pleasant reading. Amazon wanted to look for information in the New York Times "have not been to the new observations. It is, however, that different media, including the New York Times itself, in the new Kindle will be involved.

Of course, the Kindle 2, which mainly is optimized for books, newspapers and magazines show. In the U.S. Amazon has accordingly been a long time
Subscriptions to some 60 daily newspapers like the New York Times or the Washington Post on. A cost of about ten dollars. Although relatively little Subscription orders received, but apparently it is enough to severely troubled newspaper industry, a little courage to make.

A high quality digital reader in DIN A-4-format would solve two problems: Due to the electronic representation accounted for the printing costs, and while pay-content on the Internet for the U.S. newspapers have not worked, how would readers of the gap to Kindle digital world at least somewhat close. However, a format change, but to the fact that the Kindle a substantial advantage of a mobile reader loses: its handiness.
